At Crestie Charm Cottage, our mission is to nurture confident, healthy, and charismatic Chinese Crested dogs who bring joy and companionship to their forever families. We prioritize ethical breeding practices, focusing on health, temperament, and individuality to ensure every puppy is truly one of a kind.
**Our Story**
Our story begins with Julie’s lifelong love of animals and her discovery of the Chinese Crested breed in 2010. For years, allergies and asthma kept her from owning furry pets, but these extraordinary dogs—with their hypoallergenic qualities and striking personalities—opened the door to a whole new world.
Julie’s dream took shape with Jean-Pierre, the first puppy she chose to build her program. His exceptional charm and captivating nature laid the foundation for Crestie Charm Cottage. Following his legacy, Benny, from Maya and JP's second litter, and Moka, a striking stud with strong Russian lineage, continue to inspire Julie’s vision of raising Cresties who embody beauty, health, and individuality.

At Crestie Charm Cottage, each puppy is nurtured with love and care from the moment they are born. We focus on early socialization to help them grow into confident, outgoing companions, and introduce potty training and crate training at appropriate times to prepare them for their new homes.

I was lucky enough to acquire a handsome, smart, energetic and healthy boy, Benny. He does not only have beautiful markings but he has a clean bill of health. All of the pups coming from Crestie Charm Cottage come with background screenings of the parent dogs but also health screenings for the pups BEFORE they go to anyone. My pup arrived with a wonderful and loving temperment and as potty trained as a 12 week old pup can be ( using the pad and going outside). My sister will have a new litter coming soon for anyone who is interested in a quality pooch I also wanted to mention that my pup ,Benny, is also STAR certified and did incredibly well in the STAR program. . For anyone who doesn't know what the STAR program is, it is an AKC acknowledged training program that teaches correct pet etiquette to both the dog and the owner. This program also works with potty training and the following commands. Benny even got to learn some pretty cool tricks in the 6 week program. : Benny actually has his first official AKC title called S.T.A.R. I highly encourage all puppy parents to participate and Julie even has a pay-back incentive program for it.

Originally, we were interested in one of the hairless puppies she had. She answered every question and concern and sent us pictures and videos of him on a regular basis. She even let us come by to meet the puppy to make sure our 11 month old got along with him. As we waited for the time to pick up our new one, we noticed she still had the powderpuff available. As fate would have it, we ended up with both puppies and we couldn’t be happier. You could tell that both puppies were extremely loved and cared for by Julie and Crestie Charm Cottage. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Chinese Crested puppy.
